The HiT coupling from Dr. Pulley from the SERIES PRO series rounds off the high-end range of clutches. The HiT clutch enables a high contact pressure not only through the centrifugal force, but mainly through the torque of the motor. It consists of two basic parts that can be rotated into one another: by means of a sophisticated sliding or wedge system, the jaws are pressed against the inside of the bell by an extra force (in addition to the normal centrifugal force, as is the case with conventional clutches). The stronger the engine (or the stronger the resistance against which the engine has to fight), the more firmly the sliding wedges press the clutch shoes against the friction surface of the clutch basket. The loss of power in the clutch is reduced.
Other clutches begin to slip at certain speeds or speeds, but the HiT clutch does not. The everyday pilot benefits from more power on the mountain and when overtaking. The sporty driver will appreciate the increase in performance in the upper speed range.

The adjustment takes place via 2 spring systems. The first still controls the position of the starting speed at which the clutch should engage. The second springs, unique here, regulate the aggressiveness of the frictional connection through the wedge system. For the high-end area, we recommend installing the two hardest types of springs.
